2400 sqft

Naw-Tee Pine was built in 2012 as a quiet retreat overlooking Lake Wanahoo. The cabin resides on it's own acre of land with an enormous landscaped yard that is perfect for kickball and scavenger hunts!

This cabin features a 2400 sq. ft. open floor plan decorated with modern/rustic furnishings, knotty pine cathedral ceilings, reclaimed antique barn wood flooring and granite countertops. The 3 bedrooms/3 baths are appointed with luxury linens.  Many large windows offer awesome views of Lake Wanahoo.  Guests have full access to the cabin which is built on 3 levels.

We are sorry but due to allergy issues we cannot accommodate pets. We also do not permit smoking or excessive drinking on the premises at any time.

Due to parking and bathroom restrictions we are unable to host events at our site but highly recommended the NRD’s event center across the lake.

Spencer Hill is a beautifully landscaped acreage conveniently located just 30 minutes from Omaha or Lincoln and footsteps away from beautiful Lake Wanahoo. It is the perfect destination for those wanting a retreat from the hectic pace of life.  Our vision is to offer four luxury cabins on Spencer Hill.  A tepee is situated on the property and is a great place for telling stories to the little ones in the dark.

West Omaha is only a 20 minute drive away, with many restaurants and shopping opportunities.  Omaha's world class Henry Doorly Zoo, the College World Series and the annual Berkshire Hathaway meeting are an hour's drive away.  Nebraska Cornhusker fans can reach the University's Lincoln campus and stadium in 40 minutes. The quiet town of Wahoo is located 1 mile south and offers many conveniences from fast food to restaurants, banks, a meat market, bakery, two grocery stores and much more!  The town also has an 18-hole golf course, a large park and swimming pool and is the site of the Saunders County Fair.

The Wahoo Municipal Airport is 1 mile east and can accommodate corporate jet aircraft.

Lake Wanahoo is a state recreation facility built with a special focus on fishing. The lake sprawls over 2 miles and also offers camping, biking & hiking trails, and a fantastic playground for children. It is also a bird watcher's paradise.

Over 30 years ago Spencer Dorothy and his son, Rick, purchased a 4-acre hill of dirt as a borrow site for their excavating business. Never did they dream that the State of Nebraska would later dam up Sand Creek, just 600 ft. to the east, for flood control and create beautiful Lake Wanahoo. We hope that developing this land and sharing it with you honors Spencer's life. Spencer Boyd Dorothy passed away on November 23, 1997, one year before the concept of Lake Wanahoo was born.
